I read this set of books to my daughter several years ago. We both enjoyed it very much. When I was a child myself I had read The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe - which I loved and read several times, so had to read the whole set. Fabulous!

After reading these to my daughter as an adult. I reduced the number of stars from 4 to 3. If these weren't kids books, would probably be 2. There are far too many continuity errors and most of the series is pretty forgettable.

A delightful series of books that can be enjoyed even if you no longer qualify as a young adult.

a bit slow, but nonetheless, a really good set of stories. i loved the dedication to lucy in the beginning of 'the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe', it made the story seem so much more meaningful. the effort that obviously went into creating the world of narnia is rivalled by none, except perhaps harry potter. i don't think i have ever read a better ending than that of the chronicles of narnia.

These books captured my imagination as a child and my heart as an adult, read them!

This is my second most favorite series of all time, Harry Potter of course being the first. Ever since I was child I have been obsessed with the idea of a world outside of our own and these books fed that obsession and made me a better person. Go figure!
