I like the idea of this book, but it didn't hit the spot for me. It's definitely worth a read, although I think I'd have liked it more if I'd read it first as a child.

Read this as a child and loved it... read it as an adult and loved it even more. Wonderful wordplay. I recommend it to every young reader and have shared my copy with many of them.

I read this book as a child, and it has had a long-lasting impact on my life. For now, when I am bored, I find myself thinking long and hard about words that begin with the letter 'p,' just as Milo did near the end of the story.

An extremely clever children's novel. Juster creates a world that is intelligent, imaginative, puzzling and educational all at the same time. His characters buzz with life and lessons. A wonderf way to turn a boring day around.
