I really enjoyed this book! It is well over 1000 pages and I found it dragged a little during the middle section when the children characters didn't feature as often, but otherwise it was well worth reading. It's almost a 5 star from me, but not quite. 4 stars it is!

IT is one of the most horrifying novels ever published, in my opinion. This book goes so far past the basest fears of humanity, delving into the horrors of the human psyche itself and the true fear that comes from human nature. However, it is also a tale of bravery, and of courage in the face of fear and the strength that friendship can give. One of Stephen King's greatest novels, IT is timeless in the magnitude of scope and in its capacity to leave a grown man incapable of turning off the lights.
