This is a story about friendship and love and remembering. The author takes the reader back and forth in time, creating curiosity and the need to keep reading. The annoying part for me is the cursing - too many f-bombs and using the Lord's name very disrespectfully quite often. For a different read that includes intense human drama at times, this is a book to try.

A truly magical, beautiful, and brave story, this story captured my heart from the begging to the very last page this is my favorite book of all time. John Irving casted a love spell when he wrote this book, it is a heart warming story about a boy who believes in his destiny and works hard to make sure he achieves it. I believe everyone should read this story because it is so spectacular. At the end of the book I was in tears, I felt attached to this beautiful character as though he were a part of my family, this is how amazing this story truly is, it is a book that will stay with you forever.
