I really hate investing time to a long, complicated book waiting for it all to come together and realizing at the end that I don't know what happened! I am silently screaming! I wanted so much to love this book...but didn't. Maybe I read it too late in life? Maybe I don't have the time to contemplate all the nuances? I hated the ending....
