This is a creepy, suspense-filled, dramatic story of mystery, murder, and intrigue.

Of all the Sherlock Holmes stories I was looking forward to this one the most and it did not disappoint! So clever and eerie; it truly is a masterpiece.

I love the eccentricity of Sherlock Holmes and his powers of deduction. The little plot twists only come together in the final chapters leaving you wondering what is going to happen next and with rarely a clue as to the who and the why, And of course it keeps you gripped to learn more until the final denouement.

Maybe because I have seen numerous adaptations (most notably the BBC makeover one) before I read this, the pleasure dwindled greatly. Otherwise, I am sure a fan of the greatest fictional detective ever. All hail Sir Arthur Conan Doyle!

A thrilling blend of intrigue and detection. A wonderfully written, beautifully descriptive story, keeps you on the edge of our seat, and sends shivers down your spine with just the slightest hint of the supernatural

In one of Sherlock Holmes' most iconic adventures, the game truly is afoot. A ghostly howling is heard across the foggy moors as the stage is set for a truly entertaining read. Holmes and Watson are tasked with finding the source of the howls as well as deciphering the curse of the Baskerville family. There isn't much to say on this story that either wouldn't give away the plot or couldn't be said about almost any Sherlock Holmes mystery. If you like mysteries or just Sherlock Holmes, this one will be a good read.
