Early take on A Christmas Carol and many scenarios that appear in other works. Not my favorite Dickens but I do enjoy all the social history vignettes!

I have read this book many times. It started out (and finished) as a multi-part serial written for a newspaper. It is Dickens' most comedic book and it truly makes me laugh out loud. There was a movie made from the book and if you want to get a good sense of the characters in the book, the movie really does them justice.
